Help us improve the existing translation or add new languages to our official websites. Limited to specific languages: Japanese, Vietnamese, Spanish, Italian, Hindi.
You will be rewarded only if your pull request is approved.
* Pull requests let you tell others about changes you’ve pushed to a repository on GitHub. Once a pull request is opened, you can discuss and review the potential changes with collaborators and add follow-up commits before the changes are merged into the repository.
Steps to Participate
Improve the existing translation
- Get your unique hashid by PM @IoTeXBountyBot and enter /hashid.
- Signup with GitHub and go to IoTeX project website translation page:
3. Click the specific language files to review the translated versions. en.yaml is the original content document.
4. Based on the original contents in en.yaml, you can revise other language files by clicking the pencil icon. Only start the translation and revision work from the pink line and make changes to the ‘strings’ (in pink wireframes) after the colon.
5. After you finish the revision, scroll down to the bottom, enter hashid and click ‘Propuse file change’.
6. Double check the changes you made and click ‘Create pull request’ to submit. Then you are all set! We will review your pull request within 5 business days. You can check your points by PM @IoTeXBountyBot and enter /points.
Add a new language
- Get your unique hashid by PM @IoTeXBountyBot and enter /hashid.
- Signup with GitHub. Go to IoTeX project website translation page:
3. Find ‘Clone or download’ and download the language package by clicking ‘Download ZIP’. Open the original content ‘en.yaml’, start the translation work after the pink line and only translate the ‘strings’ after the colon.
4. Click ‘Create new file’ and enter language code.yaml as name. Copy all the contents from step 4 and paste in the text window. Click ‘Preview’ to double check your contents.
5. Scroll down to the bottom, enter hashid and click ‘Propose new file’.
6. Double check the new contents you made and click ‘Create pull request’ to submit. Then you are all set! We will review your pull request within 5 business days. You can check your points by PM @IoTeXBountyBot and enter /points.

Translate newly added strings: 30 points/string
Not approved — 0 points
✅ New Language Added — Full text
Three thumbs up 👍👍👍 — 3,000 points
Two thumbs up 👍👍 — 2,000 points
One thumb up 👍 — 1,000 points
Not approved — 0 points
Points earned will depend on the translation quality. All translations will be reviewed by the IoTeX team.
This community reward program (CRP) is a long-term campaign. We will give one week notice in advance if we need to close it.
