IoTalks — “Future of IoTeX” Campaign Winners
Earlier this month, we published our best episode of IoTalks titled “The Future of IoTeX”, during which we sat down with IoTeX CEO, Raullen Chai, and Head of Cryptography, Xinxin Fan, to discuss our 2019–2020 roadmap. To celebrate this new IoTalks, we asked our community to share their best “Internet of Trusted Things” use case, where 10 winners received the following prizes:

5 Grand Prize Winners
Winner #1 — Zeit_für Kryptowährungen
Given the partnership between Iotex and XYO, I would choose a use case that combines both technologies. Monitoring cooling and supply chains could become the next big thing. There are several reasons why I think it’s a good idea. With the help of smart contracts, the entire goods traffic could be optimized. So-called sentinels (GPS trackers with sensors communicating with each other) would be the IOT devices in this case. The collected data is stored on the blockchain and can be retrieved at any time. With Smart Contracts, all processes can be automated and optimized. Self-propelled vehicles and autonomous drones could also become a reality in this case. Refrigerated trucks could be designed to communicate with Sentinels to optimize power consumption for cooling. Products could be labeled with a QR code and consumers would have the choice of checking that the product is sufficiently organic. Using the Thunberg effect, one could advance such a vision. As climate change continues, we will see a trend for organic products. The technology of XYO is safe from spoofing, so profit-hungry companies have a hard time manipulating the source of their products. Such a vision would fuel the economy, reduce/optimize energy costs, reduce CO2 emissions and much more.
Winner #2 — Boris Viktorovich
I think that one of the promising ideas of using of Internet of Trusted Things is city lighting which could be friendly to green economy: placing different sensors in the trails (that someone is on the way, by weight) and around (light intensity) to switch on urban lightning when it is needed and switch off while it is not. The same about public lightning inside apartment buildings and other places where it is not needed all the time.
Winner #3 — Vitalya Perforator
Environmental pollution is one of the most important problems of our time. There are many examples when large enterprises have disposed of their industrial waste improperly causing great harm to the environment and using their connections and resources to hide it from the authorities and the public. IoT environmental monitoring applications use sensors to assist in environmental protection by remotely monitoring air and water quality, atmospheric and soil conditions, this will allow timely response to any negative changes. Monitoring applications and sensors can be used to warn of earthquakes or tsunamis, can also be used by emergency services to provide more effective assistance.
Winner #4 — vasu deva
For organizations, IoT provides the opportunity to significantly increase operating efficiency and effectiveness. It can mitigate costs, for instance when used to enable preventive maintenance which reduces the downtime of machines — sometimes even by days. Sensor data can be derived from smart (electricity) meters and smart thermostats at your homes, the fitness tracker around your wrist. But similarly, also from the connected switches within railroads, smart grid power breakers or humidity sensors within large agricultural projects to fine-tune irrigation. All these devices and sensors collect and analyze data continuously to improve customer response, process efficiency, and product quality.
Winner #5 — July Grig
In the Internet of medical things, also known as “smart healthcare”. Sensors for monitoring the condition of patients in the operating room, intensive care units and postoperative hospitals allow you to track vital signs, evaluate them and instantly notify staff of critical changes, reducing response time. Specialized sensors are also used to care for the elderly and children. These smart sensor networks collect, process and transmit valuable, valuable data and can send it to hospital systems. Currently, IoMT in the health sector allows the individuals involved (doctors, patients, caregivers, nurses, families) to be part of a system in which patient records are stored in a database, allowing doctors and other medical personnel to have access to patient information.

Awesome Interview rendering great information for the end-users.Good Luck to the team n the Project. In a use case, we need to work on solar energy projects and water preservation as Best Internet of Trusted Things to reach the masses of under-developing nations.

The best use case would be using the Internet of Trusted Things in critical supply chain items such as medicines & food that require maximum levels of Trust and assurance they are not altered.

In smart safes and secure storage systems. Such systems can be demanded by hotels, sports clubs, and just any companies where employees have personal lockers. Now, these systems are under development and security is one of the key tasks to be solved.
Winner #4 — Hilde Hildsen
There are many great IoT use cases but I think that the supply chain is the best! So many partners you have to have trust in, so many insecurities about how they handle your stuff, so many ways to make use of IoT data here. Super curious what this “very very large device manufacturer” from China will be that IoEX is building a supply chain solution wih. This will be the big band for IoTeX, for sure!
Winner #5 — Chokri AlGhanmi
Interesting talk! Thanks for sharing 👍I think the best use case of IoT is Connected vehicles! they are all the rage now. In simplest terms, these are computer-enhanced vehicles that automate many normal driving tasks — in some cases, even driving themselves. Current systems scan painted lines as one of several detection methods; magnetic rails and other forms of enhanced highways may guide future systems.
